From feral cat to lover-boy, Spiderman’s transformation was nothing short of miraculous. Trapped outside the shelter at STAF, Spiderman was both terrified and terrifying. No one could touch him. Every look earned a ferocious “stay away from me” hiss, until a volunteer painstakingly earned his trust: hours upon hours of quiet talk and blinking led to stroking with a long-handled implement then eventually by hand. Spidey, as we call him fondly, would make a gentle, loving pet. A belly rub and a warm lap are his fondest desire. As Spiderman is sensitive to noise and retreats when things get bustling, he requires a quiet, adult-only home with patient people. Feline buddies are a must, however, as Spidey gains confidence in the company of cats and loves to snuggle with them. A soft beige coat accompanied by beautiful amber eyes completes the picture of this awesome little guy, who has come such a long way to grace your couch. DOB 2013

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
