Description:
We trapped Kickstand about a week ago in Auberndale, FL. He has a broken foot that is articulated backwards and has been walked on for some time. He hails from Journeys colony (an amputation case we took last year) and there is a child in the park that shoots cats with a pellet gun. We suspect this is what happened to Kickstand.

He saw the wonderful folks at Sheltering Hands, Inc. for a neuter and came home with a lice Dx. He is on the mend from the lice affliction and will be going back for a neuter/amputation combo once his skin/coat are healthy.

It cant go without saying how wonderful Sheltering Hands is about responding to the needs of these cats! They never cease to amaze us and we owe so much of our growth to their beautiful ability to lift up fellow organizations!

Kickstand is doing great and seems to be quite friendly. We think he will do great in a foster home as soon as we are sure the lice are gone!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
