LOOKING FOR A PINT-SIZED PANTHER? LOOK NO FURTHER! THE BASICS: DSH, black ADULT MALE; EST DOB: August 30, 2020 ARRIVAL: November 5, 2020 HISTORY: Neil was trapped as a stray on Shores Road. Neil is just about as friendly as a cat can be, though he wont show it upon first meeting. Neil is a big proponent of stranger danger! He will distance himself and observe if anyone who he doesnt know enters the room. Once hes met you a few times, however, hell be on the floor rubbing your legs and jumping onto your lap or shoulders if you sit down. He even lets people pick him up and hold him from time to time, although it isnt his favorite thing. Neil is very inquisitive and is usually the first to explore new toys or objects. He gets along great with other cats and is often seen snuggling up with them on top of the condos. If you’re lucky, Neil might even let you look at the white spot on his belly. We love Neil, and if you give him a chance we think that youll love him, too. Volunteer Update Spring 2022: "Hi my name is Neil. I may seem a little shy at first but as soon as I get to know you I cant get enough. One of my favorite pastimes is playing with toys. I especially like playing with toys on string because they are fun to pounce on. But sometimes I get interested in the Handel and try to chew it. I also really like to climb on the cages and scratching posts in my room. I might seem like a daredevil because I jump from cage to cage and sometimes theyre far apart. After I play I like to snuggle up with my other cat friends high up in the room and take a cat nap." -Seamus
