Sweet boy Darius is a miracle kitty. Darius came to us in very bad shape. He had been hit by a car, which left him with a broken pelvis, a tail that had to be amputated, and a complete lack of feeling on his back end. The prognosis for cats like this isnt usually good, as they typically arent able to potty on their own, but we knew we had to give him a chance. Thanks to the good folks at BMAH, Darius began recovering little-by-little. Now, we are happy to say he has fully healed from his injuries - if it wasnt for his stubby tail, youd never know he had been hurt!
Darius is definitely grateful for being given a second chance at life. He is very friendly and affectionate. He loves having his cheeks rubbed and his chin scratched. He has also stepped up as a pseudo parent of sorts for his roommate, Fanta. He loves grooming Fanta and theyre always snuggling in bed together. He had a few spats with other cats when he was settling in, but now he does well with everyone. We think he would be fine with kids. He has not been tested with dogs.
Darius is estimated to be about 11 months as of September 2022. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. With an approved application, his adoption fee is $53.
