Special Needs Baby: Meet Pork Pie, he was part of our English Bakery litter! He is so sweet and affectionate. He is friends with all our resident kitties and dogs, and loves to run and play with them. He also loves to curl into a shrimp shape and take an excellent tiny boy nap. He loves to chill on the bed or couch with his family as much as he loves to run and play with his siblings. He is also a champion purr machine. Pork Pie was the tiniest of all the baked goods, despite his nickname Porky, and now we know why. He has a mild case of Megacolon. This gives him trouble with potty time, as he doesnt know when he is finished going, so sometimes there is a tiny escapee! He cant help it, its his Megabutt! He has excellent litter box manners otherwise. Porkys doctor says they are hopeful his daily meds and maturity will help him. There is also a surgical option that could possibly help if the meds do not work. But, there is a chance it will never go away. So his future furpawrents must be able to help with daily meds for now, but also be prepared he may always have this minor bootie issue.
