Meet Manny! This sweet, loving, playful, vocal male cat is approximately 2 years old. He was born in 2020. He had a home with a family and a little girl. They moved and left him behind. I will never understand how people do that. Manny was confused, where were his people, where was his food? He was getting thin. A concerned neighbor fed him when she could and called the ARL. They got him and he was RTF. That means "return to field." He was neutered, given shots and returned to the neighborhood. He was not equipped to fend for himself, especially in the city. He was not a hunter; he was used to people feeding him. That same neighbor contacted us, and we agreed to take Manny in. He will follow you all around. He is super loving and sweet. He might be best as an only cat because he seems to tolerate the female cats at the shelter but he is not fond of the males. Perhaps, in his time outside, he realized he needed to be an alpha? Or perhaps he always was. I do believe with proper introduction he could be with other cats, but I also know he would thrive alone being the sole recipient of your love and attention! Its getting cold outside, let Manny warm your heart! He is neutered, FeLV/FIV negative, has current rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, was wormed and is microchipped. If interested, please fill out an adoption application at After received and reviewed, you will be contacted for a private meet and greet at our shelter in Temple. Please remember we prefer to adopt within 50 miles of Reading, PA

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
