AT THE CITY OF OAKLAND ANIMAL SHELTER in Oakland, CA:  Meet Jenga! The shelter staff have this youngster listed as a young male Dutch Shepherd mix.  Interesting markings on this pup, wouldnt you say?  That bright amber colored eyes is what caught my attention.  An owner who is willing to do the proper training with this fellow would most likely end up with an awesome dog.  Those eyes of his are focused and ready to learn.

   I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Jenga is being described as a wonderfully wild and bouncy pup. Hes a combination of both shy and playful, and is a loving puppy ready to find his family. Like all puppies will, hes in a stage of "mouthiness" and needs appropriate things to chew on (like toys!) and reminders of what not to chew (like shoes or toes!). Jenga will thrive with an active family, he is patient and calm during car rides, great on leash, and responds very well when called. If you can nurture this super happy pup with positive reinforcement training and plenty of adventures, submit an application to meet him! 

 To adopt, come on by during our open adoption hours which are Thursdays 12 to 7pm, and Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays from 12 to 3pm, no appointment needed. Alternatively you may submit a completed adoption questionnaire via email. Note that dogs listed as “I am in a foster home” are generally not at the shelter and will require emailing in your adoption questionnaire.
