Hemingway was rescued from the shelter euthanasia list as he had a wobble when he walked. After rescuing him and having an MRI, it was discovered that he has a syrinx in his spine. The good news is that it only causes his endearing gait, but has no impact on his quality of life. he will be on one medication for the rest of his life, but its over the counter and is only about $15/month. Hes a sweet, yet protective boy that does need an owner that has some experience with larger breeds. He walks well on a leash and takes easy correction. He is housebroken but does have a little bit of an excitable peeing problem - but is manageable once you know what gets it "flowing" :). He knows basic commands and would make a fabulous companion and/or playmate if you like walks and snuggles with kisses! He will bark when meeting new people but with an introduction does very, very well. Please email paws4acause.renee@gmail.com if you would like to meet this handsome boy!
