Description:
Our strong and courageous Conrad is still waiting for his forever home. After months of recovering from being attacked with an axe and suffering injury to his leg and neck, he spent months on medication and on bed rest. He is all healed up from his attack and lives with his foster parents and foster dog siblings.

He’s independent and strong willed but loves to lean on his foster parents when he wants love. Incredibly smart and silly, he loves to make his foster family laugh with his goofiness and fun! He plays hard, but also loves his cuddling and nap time! He’s house trained, as he will stand by the back door when he needs to go out. He also loves to chase his tail and will amuse himself for long periods of time trying to catch his tail!

Conrad has been through a lot and was uneasy around some new people. Because he had to social distance after his recovery, he needed time to socialize with new people and dogs. Conrad spent a few weeks with a trusted trainer who helped him improve his leash walking and other commands. He walks pretty well his leash, will go to his "place" when told. He also knows sit, down, shake, touch, stay, leave it and wait.

We know Conrad will bring joy, love and fun to his forever home. He deserves only the best after everything he’s been though.

If interested in giving Conrad lots of TLC and a loving forever home, please email info@redcollar.org or submit the adoption application which can be found at www.redcollar.org
