Pet name:
German Shepherd Dog
Meet Dax!

Dax is a big old sweetheart! He was moments away from being Euthanized at the Fort Worth shelter and we were able to pull him and save his life in the knick of time! Im so glad we did!!

We dont know his whole story, but somewhere along the line he had some damage done to his right eye and our vets decided it was best to remove it. It hasnt slowed him down a bit though! He is a big old love bug that LOVES being with his people. He loves to snuggle, but sometimes forgets how big he is.

Hes still young at 3 years old and definitely has some energy, so hell need either a good yard to play in or someone willing to take him for lots of walks. Hes doing well on a leash. Hes housebroken and has had zero accidents in the house, even coming into a brand new place. Were working on crate training with him, its not his favorite yet, but hes learning. Also working on not jumping up on people. He is a shepherd and is smart, and strong willed, so while hes learning quickly, he needs someone that will be consistent with him so he can be the best boy! And he will be the best boy for some lucky person or family!! Hes done really well with our two dogs, but especially LOVES playing with our shepherd mix thats about his size. We dont have any cats, but based on his reaction to seeing them at the vet, hes NOT a fan.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
