Evaluation from trainer- Gogo was a covid puppy that had little seperation, socialization, or training. Gogo is a sensitive boy. His crate has been used as punishment for barking (along with a bark collar). When I tried to take the leash from the owners he had a full blown panic attack. He does live with another dog and does go to doggy daycare. He does pace and whine (minimal playing) while at doggy daycare. NEEDS- He needs a family that can help him learn to be a dog again and help him realize he does not need to worry about his parents (they got it covered!). He also needs some help learning the crate is a safe space (not a punishment). He is spending a LOT of time in his crate right now. He uses a special escape proof kennel. We believe he can be a completely different dog with a calm owner that will put in a little bit of effort. Inital drop off will be the hardest part. He is a really sweet boy and just needs someone that will help him learn to relax and be a dog! Gogo is altered, vaccinated, health checked, dewormed, and micro-chipped.
$100 donation If you would like to meet me please fill out a pre-adoption application at www.tailsrescue.orgHappy Tails Adoption Center is open on Sundays from 12-5pm. We are located at 7940 University Ave NE, Fridley. Dogs are at events based on the availability of their foster family. Please fill out a pre-adoption application so we know you are interested in meeting/adopting one of our animals. The breeds of our dogs and cats are a best guess. We often do not know what mix they are and have to base it on what we think they look like, and base it on breeds often found in the area they came from. Most of our dogs who have gotten DNA tests done are 4-10 breeds mixed together. Because their breed mix is a guess we cannot guarantee a full grown size of many of our younger animals.Interested in adopting me? FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
