Any guys out there looking for a loyal, well-trained companion for an active, outdoorsy lifestyle? Roger would be the perfect fit for you as he relates well to men with a strong Alpha personality, and would love nothing more than to go on hikes, adventures and walks together.

We are seeking an adopter with large breed experience and no other pets. Roger does get along with other dogs and loves to play, but really would enjoy being an only pet. He is housetrained (was trained to ring the bell when he has to go), crate trained and knows basic commands.

He has high energy so he needs an active home with a nice piece of property or fenced-in yard for him to run and play. Hes improving on his leash training, but still pulls a bit and is a strong pup so he needs a strong handler. However, he is very well trained off-leash and listens well to his foster dad on command. Hes got a great personality and is a great dog, but he has some possessive behavior traits that can be triggered and requires a knowledgeable dog owner who can help redirect this behavior.

As a result, we are recommending a home without children. Roger is a great dog who wants to please and be loved. He has done AMAZING with his foster dad, but we are looking for his forever home.

Check out his videos at Roger That

You can see from the videos how well trained and what a good boy he is.
We will also pay for some additional training for his adopter if needed.

If you think you are a good fit and are interested in adopting Roger, please email us at

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
