Booger, nicknamed Boogs, is a spirited Dane/Mastiff puppy who is curious, playful, and loving. He thrives on attention and gives great eye contact--like he is looking into your soul. Booger is a fun pup who instigates wrestling with his brother by sneaking up on him for a surprise attack. He is scrappy and likes to win all the wresting matches even though his brother is a bit bigger than him. Booger is also a snuggle bug who likes to sleep on you until he gets too hot and then prefers the floor. He will do best in a home with another dog to play with and an experienced Great Dane owner. While he takes correction well, Boogs will also tell you through his voice how much he does not like what you are saying. He will thrive with an owner that give him an opportunity to explore different environments which will increase his confidence in the world. Because Booger is so sweet and loving, he will be all about his owner just like any Great Dane. Booger is doing well with house training and basic commands. We require a fenced yard (exceptions made on a case by case basis - NO exceptions for puppies or deaf/vision impaired dogs - no invisible fencing), that stairs in the home be covered with some sort of slip resistant material to prevent injury, that all other animals in the home be up to date on vaccinations as well as spayed/neutered and that all dogs live inside as a part of the family.
