Description:
Hello my name is: Presley.

About me: I am a cuddly little pup. I was brought into the rescue at 4 weeks after my Mom was left out in the Texas heat and passed away. Ive overcome a lot, but today I am a healthy, playful and fun loving puppy who is eager to please and ready to find my forever home with someone who will love and cherish the great pup I am.

I love cuddling up next to my foster family, getting pets and playing with my chew toys. I love to romp around in the yard and do my zoomies. I will do well in a home with another pup that I can play with and look up to. I look up to the resident Pyr in my home, she is a great role model for me to learn what being a good dog is all about. I am doing very well with potty training, very few accidents and I even go to the backdoor when I need to go. I also know some basic commands and I can even fetch! Im super smart! I look forward to meeting new people and cant wait to find a place and a family to call my own.

My breed is: Great Pyrenees/mix.

My approximate weight is: 25 pounds but growing every day.

My favorite thing to eat is: Puppy food, teething rings, kong filled toys and treats of course.

My favorite thing to play with is: My brother, squeaky toys, my knotted rope, and my kong.

My funniest quirk is: I like to nudge my foster parents for pets and cuddles. I think Im a lap dog and it should always be that way right? I also enjoy sleeping on the top of my "puppy pile" but Im on top, because Im the king! Im a fun loving pup and loving having a good time all day, every day.

What do I get in trouble for: Chewing on the kids shoes/toys they leave all over the house. That will teach them. But seriously, Im a puppy what could I ever do wrong?

What I dislike the most: taking a bath, but we are working on that.

What makes me unique: I have longer hair, with tan spots on my head and back. More and more spots come in every day. Im always wagging my tail and LOVE to play especially with kids and my brother Peadar. Im always in search of an adventure and have no problem exploring. I also like playing king of the mountain, racing my brother to see who can jump on the dog bed first.

Where do I sleep: In my crate, I feel safe there. Also on my soft doggy bed.

Do I love car rides: I do love going places and will love to travel Im sure. But I havent gone many places since Im still a baby. Ive gone to headquarters a few times and have done great so far.

Wheres my favorite place to go: The backyard to play in the grass.

Do I like cats: Not sure yet, we dont have kitties around.

How I feel about my crate: I would rather be playing, but I love my crate too.

ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206.

PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS WHO ARE AT LEAST 50 POUNDS.

Our requirements for puppy adoptions are simple and necessary.

Our puppies are not livestock guardians, they are family pets that live inside of the family home.
Puppies must be placed in homes with a youthful, adult resident dog of similar size. This gives the puppy a mentor and a solid foundation for becoming part of the family.
Puppies are only adopted to homes with someone at home at least part of the day. If no one is home for 6-8 hours at a time, please do not apply.
Preference is always given to those with Great Pyrenees experience.
Applicants must have secure, visible fencing and a socialization plan in place.
The fastest way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application. Adoption is not first come, first served. GPRS and its fosters work diligently to find the right fit for each and every unique dog and puppy.
Applicants personal pets must be current on vaccines & heartworm/flea prevention and be altered.

Adoption fee: $450 (Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and health certificate for travel). Adopters located outside of Texas pay the cost of transport to an independent transport service ($250).

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
