Description:
Virgo is one of the two smaller pups in the litter of five. He looks almost exactly like his sister Gemini. His flat coat is a mix of white, brown, tan, and gray. He is always happy to greet you and is very sweet and gentle. Hes patient and tolerant. He takes treats so softly.

Virgo has made progress since he is with us, but hes still frightened of the outside world. He needs extra patience and a slow approach as he learns to walk on the leash outside the shelter gate. Slowly he is getting used to more sounds and movements, and when hes not too scared to walk, its evident that hes beginning to enjoy the experience.

Slow and steady is the way to go with this pup, letting him take his time. When he looks up at you with his hound dog eyes, you cant help but feel the love! Virgo will gain confidence and make a great companion. Hell do best with a single person or a family with gentle, respectful children 10+ since he is a big boy.

Virgo wants a fenced yard to be able to run.

After a DNA test, we were surprised to learn test that Virgo and his siblings are 50% Great Pyrenees, 14.3% Bluetick Coonhound,13.7% Chow Chow, 11.7% Labrador Retreiver and 10.3% German Shepherd.

He is neutered, up to date on shots, micro-chipped, heart warm negative and ready to go home!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
