Smokey Bonded to Nala and needs to stay together

In shelter Cat

Marion, CT, 06444
Pet name:
Smokey Bonded to Nala and needs to stay together
Smokey is approximately four years old. He is kind and gentle even though he had a hard time on the streets of Egypt. Smokey lost an eye while he was surviving on his own but it doesnt diminish his beauty. He fostered Nala when she arrived at the same foster home and we hope they find a home together but its not necessary. Smokey will groom her and even showed her how to use the litterbox when she was ready!

All of our cats for adoption are sterilized, fully vaccinated, treated for fleas/worms, are negative for FIV/FELV, and have a registered microchip, and come with their travel crate. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally-occurring, small, spotted cats in the world. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and by an approved application. NVEcats aims to increase education in Egypt and around the world about these magnificent and intelligent cats.

Cats and kittens are not adopted out on a first-come, first-serve basis. We choose to match our applicant and cats based on what we deem as best suited for that particular cat or kitten.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
