Hi my name is Achilles!! Like my name suggests, I’m small but mighty in energy and endurance, but my Achilles heel is LOVE. That’s right; I’m a big ol’ softie when I get an ear rub or a little lovin’. When I’m not melting like butter from being petted, I go back to my more masculine athleticism. A home with a yard to play or athletic owner who likes walks or runs would be spectacular. Another athletic play mate would suffice, but a must is attention and cuddles. No one but Zeus knows my backstory, but I will say I’m ready to be the best dog ever. I’m sweet, curious, like to run then nap, potty trained, I adjust quickly to routine and have pretty good manners…l like to jump, but am slowly realizing not everyone likes that and trying to mend my ways. Cats are cool, don’t know what they are yet so my rescue friends tell me no cats in my new home; big squirrels maybe…but definitely not a threat. Kids also seem like fascinating little humans and I like their pets and attention as much as adults, but I don’t spend a lot of time with them to know for certain.
