Meet Bastian, who is primarily white with one brown spot in the middle of his back and some small spots on his pronounced ears. He has short, squat legs, but loves to run in the yard and investigate his surroundings. He enjoys initiating play with the fosters big dogs, and takes their correction well. He is potty trained ,doggy door trained, and fixed. He takes his meals in a crate, waits patiently to be released, and will snooze there from time to time. He made his comfort spot on top of a larger doggy crate, so his crate is up higher so he can easily survey the surroundings. He does bark, as expected for a Jack Russell, but primarily when startled or someone new comes in, and settles quickly. During the day, he occupies himself with the other dogs and toys, and has not destroyed anything more than a paper towel or doggy pad, though has been seen carrying socks or slippers around. He would do best in a less active home with no toddlers, or children under 10. Bastian is slow to warm up, so patience will be paramount in his continued training and development. Bastian is ready to go to a fur-ever home and his adoption fee will be $350, with an additional $20 one time microchip registration fee ($370 total).
