Benedict
is an outgoing puppy who is waiting to explore the world with his forever humans. He loves to play, eat and of course nap. He is doing well with housebreaking but needs to be taken outside on a schedule. He sleeps in a pen at night, so may prefer that instead of a crate.

He does well with other dogs, children but hasnt been around cats.
Benedict
will probably be at least 60 lbs when full grown.

Benedict would like to come and be part of your family. Since puppies all have a natural tendency to nip and bite, they might not be appropriate for small children. If you have the time and patience for a puppy, please submit an application for this handsome guy.

ADOPTING A YOUNG PUPPY FROM Best Friend Pet Adoption : We prefer applicants that live close to the Triangle area of North Carolina, as you must be close enough for us to meet all the medical procedures we cover before final adoption. We only adopt within one hour of Raleigh. An adopter must be willing to drive to Raleigh for any medical treatments that are due before the dog is finalized when the dog is older than 4 months old.

We prefer to adopt young puppies to people who have previous experience owning a dog and live in a single family house rather than an apartment, condo or townhome. Puppies can be vocal when left alone and shared walls are sometimes an issue. Any children in the home under 6 years old ideally should have experience being around dogs.
