Description:
Rooty is a mature little lad who just wants to spend quality time with you. Rooty is a handsome 6 month old Labrador mix dumped as a puppy. He has come a long way with the help of a foster home and is an exceptionally nice and well behaved young dog. Rooty is potty trained, sweet, and laid back. He enjoys playing with other dogs, splashing in the kiddie pool, and following his mum around during yard work. Rooty uses a doggy door to freely go outside and inside as he wishes, but has not been kennel trained. Rooty is a real winner and will enhance your family with his charm and sweetness. Pick Rooty to adopt and love forever!

Rooty’s adoption fee is $100.00 and this includes sterilization, shots, and worming with an optional microchipping and registration for an additional $20.00. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs. Fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com. If your application is approved, a volunteer will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment. The adoption application is NOT on Petfinders. You must apply on our shelter website.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
