Meet Josh. He is a neutered white lab mix that is said to be about 2 years old. He currently weighs around 75 lbs. He is very dog friendly -- another dog in the house might help him with his confidence. He is a true velcro dog - he whines when he wants attention. He would be happy to just spend his day by your side. He is housebroken at his current foster home. He is a true lab and very food motivated. He learns routines quickly ..especially with food involved. He will need a fenced yard as he likes to go to potty in private and he is fearful walking on leash. He will "drag" you back to the house/safety.

Josh has has stranger danger and has nipped at strangers. Josh will need time to settle in and feel safe. He is NOT a city boy and does not love loud noises. He is not the scared dog reacting to every lawn mover that he was on arrival. To alleviate some of his anxiety, Josh has.been put on Prozac and seems to make some progress now.

If interested in adopting or fostering Josh, please fill out our no obligation online application at

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
