Description:
JULIAN: One year old, neutered male, Lab-type mix, very sweet but quite shy, needs time to feel secure with new people, must live with another dog, gentle and loving when he feels safe, approved for very gentle and respectful children of all ages.

Im a very sweet, 1 year old mixed breed boy with a medium energy level. I am affectionate but very shy, and I must go to a home where Ill have a doggy friend (because being with another dog helps me feel more confident). I am mellow and submissive and need a very gentle and patient adopter. Once I feel comfortable I love to play with stuffed toys and other dogs. Im looking for a kind adopter who will give me lots of reassurance and allow me to settle into my new home at my own pace. Im approved for extremely gentle and respectful kids of all ages who wont scare me by making lots of noise. I have a wonderful disposition and can be a great family dog if I live another dog and am given time to build up my confidence!

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dogs individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
