Meet Cypher! Cypher is a lovely and intelligent boy who we all have enjoyed having around. He loves to be petted, and to hang out with anyone who wants to be his friend. He knows basic skills like sit and wait, crate up, and has begun finessing walking on lead. He crates well, and is quiet in his crate. When on a consistent schedule he is clean in his crate and is great about going outside to potty. He came to us from a shelter in California where he was up for euthanasia due to an injury he sustained. He had a broken foot that with time and vet care, our team has gotten to heal completely. He was incredible for it all, letting us change every cast with no trouble at all. He is now running and playing on it, and we have done updated x-rays to confirm it is healed. We dont recommend him for a super active lifestyle as he can get a little sore on it, but he plays in his foster home every day and it doesnt bother him. This dog requires a fully fenced yard with a 4ft+ visible fence, as well as a sturdy, high quality crate (no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). He is currently on Acana Freshwater Fish, and we would recommend he stays on that food. We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $450.00.

- W. Wa and possibly Oregon locations, no other out of state adoptions at this time.

1. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by that animals caseworker. 

2. If your application is seen as a good fit to the pet you are applying for we will request photos of your fenced yard as well as your current crate or the crate you plan on purchasing. 

3. Once received we will schedule a phone interview with you to discuss the pet and the next steps, should a match be seen.

(3) You must be at least 18 years of age to complete the application or to apply to adopt a companion animal. For the safety of children and dogs and limited information on dog the dogs interaction with children- R.E.D generally prefers/requires children in adoptive home to be approximately 5 or 6 years of age and up unless otherwise noted in the dog profile. All children must be behavior appropriate with animals. (4) R.E.D. does not a ship animals to out of state adopters.
