In shelter Dog

Sioux Falls, SD, 57106
Pet name:
Labrador Retriever
Lab mix - 1 year - 50 pounds - $325

Marvin is a shy guy. He would probably prefer an older or calmer sibling as hes not a big fan of the resident puppies here jumping on him or kissing him. Hes not 100% potty trained yet, but we work on it every day. Hes pretty good on a leash, but sometimes you have to talk him into going for a walk. He doesnt love his kennel, but once hes in he doesnt complain too much. Unless he has TO GO then hell escape the kennel and make a mess!

Marvin seems to love all people and will follow me around the house

. Hes very quiet and will just lay by you whenever youre doing something. Hes starting to ask for more pets but enjoys them anytime I give him some. He loves belly rubs.

He is really a sweet boy!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FelK test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved.
We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
