Description:
Kane wants everyone to know that he is here for the party. To be truthful, Kane is the party. This young boy is still very much a pup and is having a blast in foster. He has decided that he gets more benefits by being a good dog, so he wants to be a good dog. He is trying, but has a ways to go. His inner child is usually front and forward, and he will have you laughing constantly with his antics. He has some great characteristics. He absolutely loves everyone he meets. He is learning to keep all four paws on the floor (although he forgets this a lot). It may be a little off putting to young kids or the elderly. His temperament is just so great, you cant help but love him.

He is a natural born athlete and far outpaces the other dog in agility and grace. If something is in his way, he simply flies over it. This boy could mountain climb. He has learned to respect the gates and barriers and will not fuss too much about some areas being off limits. He has enjoyed meeting all the resident dogs/fosters and gets along well with everyone. He is very social, nosy and inquisitive. He is always looking for a playmate. If one of the resident dogs refuses him, he is off to find something else to do.

He is housebroken and crate trained and has no problem with his crate (This is where he gets fed). He always has a chew bone in his crate and gets lots of yummy stuff and treat dispensing toys when he goes in, so the crate is now a fun place for him. He is crated when no one is home, as well.

Kane does okay on leash. He may grab it to initiate play. He seems to like "tug" a lot. He needs work on walking past other dogs on the leash. Some dogs he is indifferent and will walk right past, while other dogs he gets jumpy and whines when passing. Kane is still working on this behavior and his new owner should be willing to continue working on this. He loves meeting everyone, but needs better manners to control his excitement.

He was initially mouthy (as most young pups are), but as time goes on, he relies on it less and less. Kane must be supervised when loose in the home. He has a mischievous side and being left alone unsupervised, he may chew on items and play with shoes (lol). Hes very much a puppy! Make an appt to meet this goofy, fun boy today!
