Hi! I’m Ryker! I came into MUR’s care after living a life that didn’t quite suit me. I was ready for a bit more structure and I’m very happy to say that I’ve adapted to the city life perfectly. 

I am fully house and kennel trained, and have been working very hard on my leash manners. I find other four legged friends a bit too interesting sometimes and can get reactive on leash to them so would appreciate my humans reminding me of my manners when I see them. I am working hard at being the best dog I can be and, while all dogs need direction, I will need a family committed to training and helping me with this skill in particular. I will do best in a cat and dog free home, but I am great with kids! I have learned a lot of tricks with the help of my foster family. I know how to Sit, Stay, Down, Shake, Leave it, Touch, Come, Let’s go, and I am great at giving eye contact before I eat. I also recognize the meanings of “yes” and “no”! 

I love pretty much everything in life, but I love my humans the most. I’m so grateful for their friendship and love, I just want to return the favour. Youll never have to worry about getting lonely with me, Just turn around and I’ll be right there! I also love treats and will do just about anything for one, which makes me an incredible learner (see resume above). I make a great cuddle buddy and an excellent playmate. Kind of the perfect mix if I do say so myself!
