Description:
Meet Travis!
This sweet old man is about 11 years old and weighs only 7 lbs!
Travis was found wandering on the busy streets of Miami dazed and confused. Luckily he was uninjured and brought to safety.
Travis initial vet visit went well. Considering his age, he is in good health. Travis recieved his vaccines and is scheduled to be neutered with a teeth cleaning in a few weeks. Travis came with a little friend attached to his ear, but the doctor said it just looks like a growth and can removed during his neuter.

Although heartworm negative, Travis does have a grade 4 heart murmur and will have to be kept on heart meds indefinitely. Nothing slows this guy down and hes always ready to be on the move! Loves going for walks outside.

His foster says that Travis is such a good little dog and will make any family fall in love with him. Travis is appears to be deaf but his other senses overcompensate for the lack of hearing. He is great with young kids, dogs, and cats. He LOVES to be swaddled and carried like the baby he thinks he is!

Foster mom lets him have run of her kitchen and he does well and sleeps in his bed. She says he does not like being in a crate and will cry but she says a crate is not even necessary for him.
Travis knows to go potty outside and is overall a quiet dog who loves love.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
