Hooper the Great! is hoping to make your acquaintance. He is considered a senior although he doesnt
believe in labeling. He looks good, he feels good, and he loves to play. His foster home shared that
Hooper is a medium energy senior who loves treats, toys, people, and companionship. Hooper is very
loyal and will follow his caretakers around and prefers being near them by lying in their general vicinity.
He is potty trained, crate trained, and is even quickly picking up commands like sit, wait, touch, look at
me, and stay. Hooper is very responsive to corrective commands, but very rarely needs them. He stays
off furniture and is not a barking dog. He barks when excited but will stop when commanded. Hooper is
fantastic around kids and is very social with people and other dogs. He has been to nearby parks and
other public areas with no issues. Hes a handsome boy that loves getting pets from strangers who cant
resist his charm when hes out in public. Hooper is a good boy on walks and practices daily on a harness
and leash. He rarely pulls and could most likely be off leash, but would need a little more training to get
to that point. Hooper also loves treats and will happily surrender toys to get them. He loves soft toys
(and destroying them) but enjoys hard toys made for tough chewers as well. If you really want to make
him smile, give him a bath and rub lotion on his skin! Kisses, rubs, and love taps are guaranteed! Hooper
is sweet and friendly, a happy, hoppy pup who cannot wait to meet you and play!
