I’m Chocolate Chip. I’m a shy boy who came from Puerto Rico to find my forever home! I’ve been in my foster home for about 6 months now, and my foster mom says I’m a PERFECT example of the 3-3-3 rule. Since being with her I’ve done a complete 180 and have grown to be quite content being a house dog! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my doggy foster brothers and sister and all the puppy fosters that have been here during my stay. I’ve done great with everyone! This is one important thing - I NEED another dog or 2 in my house to help me acclimate. I’m quite terrified of cats, so best to just say no! There are 2 little girls in my house and I do love them. They have helped me the most learning to trust humans (they sneak lots of snacks to me and their bed is the comfiest too!) I do great at night - I sleep on my own dog bed next to my foster moms bed with the other dogs! I have great with potty manners, but am going to need to adjust to a new house! A fence is important as I love to run and play. I am PERFECTION when it comes to walking on a leash. My foster says that you need to be extremely patient with me, so I can get used to you and my new home. But she’ll explain it all when you decide to meet me!!

What breed am I? Mixed mutt! ODHS does not breed label (unless there’s official paperwork), as studies show it is nearly impossible to tell the exact breed of each dog based off of their appearance.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
