Description:
Doc is an approximately 2 year old German Shepherd mix who is looking for a special home. He is a smart, happy and playful pup with a lot of energy who enjoys playing and going for walks, but he was not socialized well as a younger dog and is still developing his self-confidence. As a result, Doc can be a little fearful of new people and new situations, so in particular, he needs to be introduced carefully to new people and things he has not experienced before. However, for those he knows and is comfortable around, you will be hard-pressed to find a more fun, devoted and loving companion. Doc would do best in a home that does not have lots of different people coming and going, a home without children, and he needs an experienced owner who will continue to help him gain confidence. Doc lived in a foster home for a short period and got along very well with the other dogs and cats in the home, and he does well with the other dogs in the kennel. For the right owner, however, Doc will be a devoted and affectionate pup that will provide years of unconditional love.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
