Description:
Meet GOOFY KISSABLE MIKEY! New Haven, CT : After nine long months of being passed by, MIKEY finally sprang free from the shelter and is thoroughly enjoying freedom with his foster mom! And he knows how to show his appreciation! He may be 8 years old, but you’d never know it. He’s a silly, goofy boy who LOVES fetching his tennis balls, a good game of tug, and breaking records to find the squeaker in any squeaky toy he sees!
He’s a people dog for sure, hoping that everyone who walks by will give him a pet (or two!) and how can you not? He is also cat friendly! He’s currently living with two cats who want nothing to do with him, and after a couple days of chasing them juuuuust to be extra double sure, he accepted that they don’t want to be friends and leaves them alone. He takes treats, toys, and food very gently. He’s a big boy and sometimes he forgets it, so his best bet is a home with older children. He’s a great leash walker and an excellent copilot in the car—he loves putting his head out the window! And at the end of the day, he’ll snuggle up with you, perfectly content to just be by your side.
Unfortunately, Mikey was attacked by another dog in his previous home and has the scars on his ear to prove it, so he’s meant to be your one and only pup, but he’ll give you the love of a dozen!
Mikey deserves a forever home that’ll give him all the love he’s missed out on in the past. He’ll pay you back and then some with endless kisses, goofy antics, and adoration! For more info on how you can adopt Mikey, please contact AmsterDog at 917-689-8414
