Joey is a sweet 2 year old dark chocolate brown Pit/Lab mix that weighs in at about 65 pounds. This medium energy guy knows his basic commands (sit and lay down), loves to fetch and play in the water, and is looking for a household to call his own where he can relax and be part of the family. Although he is okay with other dogs that are easy-going, he is not interested in playing with them, preferring to play fetch or go for a ride with his human buddy. Joey really loves to ride in the car and is very well behaved when he does, sitting calmly watching the world go by. If you have been looking for a quiet companion that will be all about you, this is your man.

Joeys adoption fee is just $80. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on shots. If you are interested in Joey, please email with tour phone number and a brief description of your household and we will give you a call back!

HPHS supports spay/neutering of all pets. Adopt from us and your new pet is spayed or neutered. They are up to date with their shots as well.

Discount spay/neuter vouchers are also available at the Second Chance Thrift Store. Income verification is necessary tp receive the voucher.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
