Diesel is 2-3 years old and found himself in a kill shelter in Georgia prior to us rescuing him. We dont know what the first year or so of Diesels life was like but we dont believe it was any good. Despite his rough start in life, this boy has an immense amount of love for any human he meets.

Diesel needs to be the only pet in his forever home. He is dog reactive and although hes never harmed a cat or other small animal we want to err on the side of caution. He will never be a dog that will go to the dog park, attend doggie daycare, or go on play dates with other dogs... and THAT IS OKAY! He will still make a perfect addition to the right family and deserves his happy ending.

He would LOVE a fenced yard to run and play in, a human to care about him as much as he will them, and a home to call his very own. He is one of our longest term dogs and has been with us since May 2021.

Diesel is great with kids!

Adoption fee is $250. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

If you think you might be able to love Diesel as much as he will love you, get in touch with us with any questions or apply here: complete an adoption application, click here: /forms/form?formid=5879

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
