Foster or Foster-to-Adopt Needed! We are looking for an adopter to temporarily foster him until he medically cleared for adoption or a foster person who can care for him until he is available for adoption. If you are interested in foster-to-adopt, apply to adopt above and come in to meet him! If you would like to just temporarily foster, please fill out a dog foster application from our foster webpage, and our foster coordinator will contact you once you have been approved.

Meet Smokey! He is an 8 year old Pit mix who came to us recently after his owner could no longer care for him. Smokey is a pretty laid back senior boy who mostly enjoys snuggling in his bed or going for short walks throughout the day. Due to some vision impairments, Smokey has a hard time seeing things unless they are right in front of his face. Due to this, he may do well in a home with lower energy dogs and children who can respect his boundaries and go slow with interactions. Shelter life has been a bit stressful for Smokey, so we are looking for a loving home where he can relax a bit more.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
