Name: Chong Best Guess for Breed: Retriever mix
Best Guess for Age: will be 4 years old in October 2022 SEX: Male

Approximate Weight: 32 lbs

Gets Along With: He loves other dogs! He has limited experience with cats, see details below. He should not go to a home with children under the age of 12, little kids are a bit much for him!

Currently Living at: DC area foster home

All about Chong: Chong arrived from a Puerto Rico shelter as a baby and was adopted into a loving home in the DC area in January of 2019. His humans have given him a wonderful life full of cuddles and play and support. He is great with other dogs - he enjoys going to the dog park and has been going on pack walks with 3-4 other dogs several times a week, and has thrived on that. His humans had a joyous addition to the family - a baby - and the noises and movements of the new baby have been making Chong anxious, so needs a home where little ones are not around.
Chong has had limited experience with cats. His humans say he generally ignores them after barking initially. He has spent a night in a home with a cat, and did not attempt to chase it. If you have a cat, we will be happy to discuss with how to introduce Chong to your household!
At 32 pounds, hes a great medium size that is both ideal for trotting alongside you and curling up on the sofa without hogging all of it. He has spent almost his whole life in a wonderful home, knows what love is, and is eager to both give and get it. Hes seeking a calm home where he gets to go on long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures with his new humans. Opportunities to play with dog buds are high on his wish list as well! What do you say? Are you looking for a handsome, medium sized pup whos ready to supply you with adoring gazes and tail wags and companionship in all your adventures to come?Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
