Hi everyboooody! My name is Pinot, and Im a 2-year-old Shepherd/Hound mix. I love stretching out my long legs, and would really, really, REALLY like to find a family that can take me out for hikes and adventures. Im a perfect mixture of smart and silly, and love learning new tricks! And if you want to speed up the process, Just grab some treats and Ill learn extra quick. Im potty trained, I know how to sit, stay, lay down, shake... and I cant wait to learn some new commands with you! I have a very bright personality, I love playing with toys and could probably do it from sunup to sundown if you gave me the chance. If youd like to meet me, the C.A.R.E. Adoption Center is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10am-4pm. If you cant tell, Im getting pretty excited already!

Want to meet Pinot? Fill out an adoption application here: to be pre-approved and we can set up a day and time for you to come in! Come see the rest of our animals at our Adoption Center on 1328 W. Sunshine St. Springfield, MO 65807 Thursdays-Saturdays from 10am-4pm.

All C.A.R.E rescue dogs are vaccinated, heart-worm tested, spayed/neutered, and dogs are microchipped! So all you need to provide is the love. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
