Description:
Meet Hank. Hank is an 8-month-old Sheperd mix. Hes very sweet and extremely affectionate. He walks very well on a leash, and he does okay in a crate, but would much rather be with people. He will use weewee pads, but he still needs some basic housetraining. Since hes a Sheperd mix, his weight is expected to be around 40 to 60 pounds when fully grown. He knows basic commands like sit and stay, but he is very eager and willing to learn more. He is very friendly and good with people and dogs, but he will be a little shy and timid at first. Not sure how he will do with cats and small children.

Interested in becoming a forever home for Hank? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we dont go any further without an application.

Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Hank.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Hank the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or theres an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.

Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
