Description:
Hi I’m Coop! I’m a sweet boy looking for a family who can take things slow with me. I’m timid and scared of strangers, especially men, when I first meet them. As I am getting to know you, I need time to warm up slowly, since my trust has to be earned over a long period of time. I’m really hoping for someone with lots of patience to help me work through my fears. Once we are friends, I promise it will be worth it! I like to snuggle on the couch with my people and I love to play! I love butt scratches and all the pets in the world! I need to be in a calm home with no other dogs or a very low energy dog that is not jumpy because it makes me very nervous. If I go to a home with a dog, I would need to meet them first, just to make sure we can be friends. I would like a big yard to run around in to stretch my legs. I love to explore and see what’s new! I do well when I am left unattended and I don’t ever potty in the house or chew up your things. I am good at watching what is going on outside of my home, and I will occasionally bark when someone passes by. I do not like being in the crate, therefore I should always be left to free roam. I just started some medication to help me not be so scared and am looking for that perfect someone to work with me and give me love. I was born in 2017 and am located at the rescue in Justin, TX.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
