Meet Ty!

Ty is a 2-year-old Husky, and he loves everyone! Ty currently lives in a foster home and is exclusively an inside dog. Ty lives with large and small dogs and gets along well with his friends. Ty is active, with puppy energy, and enjoys his daily walks, and running the acers at his foster home, which is securely fenced. Ty does great on car rides, walks well on a leash, is completely housebroken, and is create-trained (although he would rather sleep on the bed).

Ty is friendly with all people and loves to meet new people. In his foster home, he has gone to outdoor dining and sat nicely under the table, loves to play with other dogs, and loves to go everywhere with his human. He knows to sit, stay, lay, and shake and is willing to learn more to impress his human. Ty would thrive in a home with knowledge of his breed and the various huskyisms, larger dogs as he is rambunctious, and with a person who is home often.

Rescue For Pet Sake policy requires secure fenced yards, home checks, and no out-of-state adoptions. If you are interested in meeting Ty, fill out an application at, or you can call 530-263-3331 to set up a meet and greet in Grass Valley, California.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
