Sweet Chewy came to us when his owner entered a hospice situation. Unfortunately his owner was unable to care for him adequately before he came into rescue, which led to him being locked outside for long amounts of time by his owners kids. Chewy is a Silky Terrier (possibly a mix). He is still quite active despite his age. He recently got a full workup where we got his teeth cleaned, and some senior bloodwork done. He has recently become mostly blind due to his aging, although he still seems to see shadows and get around new places pretty good. Chewy has a lot of love left to give and is looking for someone who will open their homes to this sweet guy. He knows how to use a doggy door, but may take some time to figure out the placement of a new one due to his vision loss. Are you looking for a super sweet couch companion?
