Las Vegas, NV, 89134
Pet name:
Silky Terrier
Sweet Chewy came to us when his owner entered a hospice situation. Unfortunately his owner was unable to care for him adequately before he came into rescue, which led to him being locked outside for long amounts of time by his owners kids. Chewy is a Silky Terrier (possibly a mix). He is still quite active despite his age. He recently got a full workup where we got his teeth cleaned, and some senior bloodwork done. He has recently become mostly blind due to his aging, although he still seems to see shadows and get around new places pretty good. Chewy has a lot of love left to give and is looking for someone who will open their homes to this sweet guy. He knows how to use a doggy door, but may take some time to figure out the placement of a new one due to his vision loss. Are you looking for a super sweet couch companion? Or someone to sit on the porch with and enjoy sunset? Chewy can be that buddy you are looking for!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
