His size might intimidate someone but thats the extent of his security ability - he likes people too much! Hes mysterious, the silent type. Bones loves his toys and will share with you if you like. Hes kennel trained so if you need to be away for a little while during the day. He also sleeps in a kennel and knows basic good boy skills.

You work from home, this good boy and his cuddle pillow will be happily chilling close by.

So help yourself to big love, ginormous welcome-home-smiles and Im-so-excited-to-see-you-tail-wagging . You deserve it!

========================================================Please contact app@aarfhouston.org for more information about this dog. You can apply online by clicking on the application. Children under eight years old often are not a good match for our puppies and dogs. To protect both your child and our rescued dogs/puppies from harm, we seldom, if ever, adopt to families with young children. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet and greet at one of our adoption events. Thank you for considering a rescue! The adoption fee includes vaccinations, Bordetella, de-worming, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. There is a an additional $12.99 fee for Home Again for a lifetime registration of the microchip.
Puppies cannot be adopted outside of the Houston area until they are spay/neutered after they are 4 months old. It is against the law in the State of Texas for a rescue not to be sterilized so we have to make sure it gets completed and that we have record of it.
NOTE: In our bios, we provide information based on our volunteers experience with a particular dog; such as temperament, training, and ability to get along with others.
AARF is a 501(c)3 Non Profit, all breed, no kill organization. Our group is always in need of donations in order to continue to give the needed medical care to our rescues. Adoption fees do not begin to cover all of the medical costs. Any donation , no matter how small is a big help and is greatly appreciated. Please help us to continue to help them. Thank you.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
