Pet name:
Tabby (Brown / Chocolate)
Hi there! My name is Jonesy and boy, do I have an interesting story. So there I was, a normal kitten, living the good life with my family. Then, like an idiot (hindsight is 20/20) I snuck out the door and took off. My lips are sealed about what happened, kind of like "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" but the end result was me going back home with a broken leg. My family took me to the ER vet, but they couldnt afford the treatment my leg would need so they gave me up, knowing that I would be taken care of. Shelter to Home took me in and got my leg fixed at the Animal Surgical Center up in Flint. They put rods and screws in my cool is that!? My foster family did physical therapy exercises to help me recover from surgery. Now I can go back to running around like a crazy kitten, although Ill be 1 year old in September, so I cant use the excuse that Im a kitten for much longer. I love sitting on laps and laying on chests, and Im great for conversations on whatever topic you want to talk about. I love playing with other cats but I havent been exposed to dogs. I dont have a real bionic leg, but it is pretty special. Do you think I might be a good fit for your family?**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at for information on our adoption process.**

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
