Pet name:
Finnegan #6314
Hi! My name is Finnegan the baby crested gecko!

I was surrendered to the rescue because I was an unexpected surprise. I am looking for a home where I am part of the family.

I am a low-maintenance, kickback, easy-going, nocturnal lizard with sticky feet. I start to stir as you start to settle for the evening. Perfect timing for you to spray my enclosure and give me some yummy food for the night! I may or may not be awake when you get up in the morning, but the second spritz of water is all you need to do to make sure I am okay for the day! Oh, and my food is already prepared so if you dont like bugs in the house, I may be the perfect pet for you!

Being a baby, I am very quick but still manageable. I need to be handled several times a week to learn to trust hands and to form a relationship with my adult people. My age and size do not make me a good candidate for younger children.

I do like to climb so my house will need to be tall with lots of hiding places and leaves to retain the water you spray in for me to drink. While my temp should only be in the 70s, I do require a low-level UVB light during the day. While some may say its okay for us to live with others, thats how accidents or surprises like me happen. This is also how many of us lose our tails so I will need to live on my own to keep me happy and healthy. With the right diet, habitat, substrate, temperature, and humidity I can live a long and healthy life that can be as long as 10-20 years! Here is a great information link >

If you think we may be a good match, or you would like to get to know me better, please click the Adoption Application button below my bio on the rescue website. Here is the link -

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
