In shelter Dog

Deepwater, New Jersey, 08023
Pet name:
Basset Hound, Mixed
Black with White
Lee (10) and his best friend Lily (4) were surrendered by their owner in August 2020 to a shelter in South Carolina. The two sat waiting for an adopter for 2 months when the shelter reached out and asked for help in placing them. These two dogs are bonded and we never leave one behind, no matter what breed it is. Lee is a 10 year old basset/aussie mix who is as sweet as can be. His little friend Lily is a 4 year old chihuahua/terrier mix who is incredibly smart and a typical little dog with a big attitude. Both were heart worm positive, have been treated along with all of their medical needs and monthly preventatives.  They have a $200 adoption sponsorship!!!

Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued Basset Hound!  We ask all potential adopters to complete our application and approval process first so we can discuss the dogs that fit your home.  We usually have 25 - 35 dogs available and the ages range from less than year old to ten plus years old.  Once we receive your application you'll be contacted by an adoption representative to complete the application process.  We look forward to speaking with you about our wonderful hounds waiting for forever homes!!!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
