Maple is a young terrier mix, about a year old.  Here is her story as told by the lady who's been caring for her:

"Maple was dropped off at my house when she was a puppy. Someone drove up and put her out and then drove off. 
She came right up to me and she’s been here ever since. 

She’s shy when you first walk up to her but within seconds she starts showing you how happy she is. 
She ducks her head down until you get close enough and then she starts running wild around you, you can barely keep up. For that reason alone, I try to keep her away from my toddler. I don’t want her getting too crazy and knocking my child down. 

But she loves kids, people, cats and dogs. No aggression whatsoever. The only behavioral problem I’ve noticed with her is she whines when she can’t be around people."

Maple will be vetted and spayed before she is adopted.
