Description:
Alika here (“most beautiful” in Swahili). My foster mom named me not just based on my show-stopping forever puppy eyes, but on my heart. That is where my true beauty lies (don’t get me wrong, I’m a very cute pocket pitty too). I absolutely adore children!!! In fact, I love all people! I like to follow my people around and give them all of my love. I’d be an excellent companion for someone working from home or just someone who wants to be greeted with a giant smile and wiggle butt when they come home. I’m an adult so I already know all of my house manners and commands (I’ve even had some formal training!). I occupy myself well playing with my toys but I’m over all that puppy energy and mischief. I just want to be your best friend and have a home of my very own!  Alika is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. Alika’s adoption fee is $200.   All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
