Description:
Check out this cutie, Ruby!

Ruby is a 5-year-old female American Staffordshire Terrier/ French Bulldog mix! She is healthy, vaccinated, microchipped and spayed; however, she did have surgery to remove kidney stones from her bladder. She only has one kidney but is not on any medication. She just needs a special 'kidney care' diet.  Ruby is 80% couch potato and 20% down to play or go for a walk. Mostly she wants to hang out and get scratches or lays around in the sun but is down for a moderate walk or tug toy. She does well on a leash and in the car. She's even had a couple of adventures with her foster family, who took her to eat on the patio of a quiet restaurant and to a brewery when it wasn’t too crowded, and she did great.

She is great with older kids and guests in the home. She’s met some toddlers in the neighborhood, was pretty good with them but seemed a little nervous. Ruby’s doing well with the foster family's cats and is ok with mellow dogs who don’t take much interest in her. We feel, with the proper introduction and temperament, another dog could be ok.

Ruby really loves everyone she meets, and we feel would do best in a mellow home. Could you be the furever family Ruby is searching for? If you believe so, please submit a completed
 adoption application found
at www.doggiebonez.com so that we can schedule a meet and greet. He is also on all of our social media pages  IG: @Doggie_Bonez_Inc_ and Facebook: Doggie Bonez.

If adoption isn't an option, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. We much appreciate the help and time of our fosters. You provide all the love, comfort, and safety of a home, and we supply you with everything else you may need, dog food, dog bed, toys, medical attention (if required), etc. If you are interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their fur-ever home and complete the foster application.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
