Newport Beach, Orange County, Califor...
Pet name:
Belgian Shepherd Malinois, Mixed
Tan, Yellow, Fawn with Black
Coat length:
8 month old Chanel is a Belgian Malinois mixed with something smaller. She is the perfect match for an active family who is looking for a companion.   This little girl is “spring loaded”.  Secure fencing is needed for this girl!  Belgian Malinois dogs are very special dogs.   They have extremely high drive and energy and are only happy when they have a job to do.  Not only are they NOT couch potatoes – they don’t even know the meaning of that phrase.  Chanel is no different.    She is a smart girl who loves to work.

Chanel likes other playful dogs and loves to get out for walks and exercise.  She takes treats well and likes people.  She seems to be a "girls' girl.  While she likes her foster dad too - she is happiest hanging out with her foster mom - especially when she has her friends over.  She likes to be part of the "ladies group.'

We are looking for a home that is experienced with the breed and looking for a project. Training Chanel will require your time and commitment for her to be successful.   Please think long and hard before applying for her.   If you do not believe your schedule and life style will allow this  – then please apply for another dog.

Please go to our website and complete an adoption application at:

An adoption counselor will contact you to go over your application and assist you in determining which dog may be best for your particular situation.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
