Pretty Penelope is a friendly, happy girl. This sweetheart came to Houndhaven with a fractured pelvis after unfortunately having been hit by a car. She’s had surgery to repair the fracture and is recovering beautifully. Throughout, she has been brave and loving and hasn’t let her injury get her down. Penelope is a female black lab mix. She’s a young adult, estimated to be approximately two years old and weighs 44 lbs. She tested negative for heartworms, has been brought up to date on vaccines and is on monthly heartworm prevention. Sweet Penelope will be ready to go to a new home mid-June. If that home could be with you, please review our policies and submit an application for precious Penelope.
