Phoebe 10 Years Old Crate trained House trained Basic obedience Prefers being only dog, or a calm friend Fostered in Everett, WA Hello! My name is Phoebe, and I love people of all shapes and sizes! I am fond of the teenage boy in my foster house, he gives me attention and he takes me out on lots of potty walks even though I can use the doggie door by myself. I don’t get around as I used to as a young pup, but I LOVE to go in the car. If you would like to make me really excited, take me to the beach! I love the wind in my ears and the sand between my toes. I know how to sit and lay down when asked! I like to smell for bunnies and squirrels when walking on a leash, and cats also get my attention. On a recent trip to the beach, the seagulls really caught my eye!! I have been to the vet several times recently and they suggest that I don’t go up and down stairs too often because of my back and hips. My vet said that it is time for me to be a lap dog which would suit me just fine!! I love to be where you are. My foster family has been giving me medication that makes me feel much better, and helps me get around like a much younger, and agile girl. I don’t have a big appetite, but I like it when my food is softened so that I can eat it easier. Water is the best beverage, I drink it often and make bubbles! I am completely crate trained, although I will prefer to be right next to where you are getting scratches behind my ears and laying at your feet. I am a sound sleeper, and do not mind that I snore. I will definitely let you know when it is time to eat in the morning! I would be most happy being your one and only dog, although with slow introductions I can learn to get along with another calm dog. I don’t have interest in playing with other dogs, so I get unhappy when they insist. I really do enjoy my own space! I enjoy treats, but I don’t play with many toys. I can’t wait to meet you!
